I flew into San Jose, Costa Rica arriving at about 4:45 pm on January 1st of 2019. It was great to leave a freezing climate to arrive in sunny San Jose at about 77 degrees Fahrenheit or, as they measure here, 25 Celsius. My hotel is not far from the airport and it was nice to have dinner and relax.
The next day, I spent finding a car to purchase. (See picture below) Day number three was the drive to Cocles, Costa Rica my new home located on the Caribbean side.
