Shortcuts - using them

You can make anything a shortcut.

A shortcut in Windows is a pointer to the real item or object. When you drag an object with the right mouse button pushed down and when you reach a new spot, let go. You get "Create Shortcut(s) Here". Click the menu item "Create Shortcut(s) Here" and a shortcut is created.

Try it! Right drag any document, folder (including folders from your network server), or program; then double-click the shortcut. It will take you to the item.
