Explorer
- If you like using
Explorer, you might find some goodies here.
Ctrl + A = Select All
- A couple of the standard
hot keys in windows products is Ctrl - Home and Ctrl - End.
- To go to the top - to go
to the bottom.
- When you open a folder in
the Explorer, do the following
- Click: (Your file list on
the right - single click)
- Now press: Ctrl - End
- (this takes you to the
bottom)
- Or if you are at the
bottom - press: Ctrl - Home
- (this takes you to the
top)
- Or type the first letter
of the file you want to move to.
- You can also press: Ctrl + Shift + End
(this highlights to the end of your list)
- There are a few other hot
keys you can use to move around in Explorer.
- When you select a folder
with a plus next to it:
- Press the minus on the 10
key pad
This will collapse your tree.
If you change floppies in drive
A: and you want to refresh the right side of Explorer press [F5]. F5 is your
refresh hot key. Your computer will re-read your drive without you clicking the
A: drive again.
