Herbert “Grandpa” Hudlet

The year 2005 has begun on a sad and difficult note.  Herb “Grandpa” Hudlet who helped to found Majestic View Ministry died suddenly of pancreatitis on January 5th.  Believing that there is no retirement in serving the Lord,  Herb not only helped to found this ministry, he worked here full-time, year-round and was also the largest single contributor.  Herb and Carolyn, “Grandpa and Grandma,” contributed Herb’s retirement money each month to the ministry.  In this ministry alone we have lost a husband, father, grandpa, friend, board member, prayer warrior, confidant, enthusiastic and capable worker, boat driver, and financial contributor.  Grandpa has left big shoes to fill and we are praying that God will send the right people along to help fill the void left by the home-going of Grandpa Hudlet. 

We also want to thank each of you who have prayed for us and have sent notes of encouragement.  We praise God for the Christian family.
