I really do not have much growing in my yard.
First right outside the door, we have three trees with plantains. They are almost ready to harvest.
Next, we have “tha lemon tree”. The fruit is also almost ready to start picking.
Give it a few more weeks and it will start to turn yellow.
“We do not have bananas trees?”, I asked my landlord. Lo and behold, he brought over the roots to plant four “organic” banana trees. Don’t ask… I do not know what makes them organic. My guess is they are not wild or produced by the large banana plantations.
We will have some bananas soon!
